About Us

Hello, I'm Kimberly! I'd like to share a bit about my journey. Before becoming the CEO of Kimberly’s Canine Care, I began my career life as a nanny at just 12 years old. My first job was with a single mother who had two sons aged 3 and 5 and two large golden retrievers. Whenever I babysat, I brought my brother and sister along, who were the same age as the boys. Those moments are some of my fondest memories. I would pack lunches, take out the stroller, and walk everyone to the park for a day of fun. 

I've always been dedicated and driven by my passion for caring for others. After my babysitting days, I ventured into pet sitting. By the age of 21, I became a groomer, combining my love for hair styling and animals into the perfect career! With my entrepreneurial spirit, I soon began offering in-home grooming services, which my clients and their pups adored. This allowed me to keep the dogs happy and comfortable in their own space while treating them to a spa day. I also provided services like walks, medication distribution, overnight sitting, and training. This is how Kimberly’s Canine Care was born. 

Things were going well when a significant change occurred—I met my future husband! As our relationship deepened, so did my bond with his husky, Rex, who now affectionately calls me "Mom." My love for Rex inspired me to shift my focus so I could spend more time with both of them. That's when I launched my online store, aimed at reaching more pet parents by designing colorful apparel and accessories for them.

With this new direction, I'm excited to give back to pets across the country. I will donate some of the proceeds from a select item to shelters that need it the most, starting with spcaLA.
